There’s a lovely little shop selling local produce, and I especially love the Kankaan crisp bread 😋. This is the place for proper home-cooked food. I’m guessing they use real butter and cream.

Lunch hours and weekends can get crowded, but it’s still worth stopping by. The atmosphere is incredibly warm and cozy, the food and coffee are great, and the staff are amazing. In summer there are lambs and chickens around too, which kids and animal lovers will enjoy.

Lunch was 10 e. The old building has a nice, classy interior. There weren’t any vegetarian buffet options when we visited, so they kindly prepared a separate dish for us. The salad table, bread, and dessert were all good.

The Tuorla science center is about 400 meters from the entrance, and a city bus goes by fairly often. It’s a really cozy place, with nice food in the restaurant.

There’s a small gift shop, and the buffet table was good. It’s easy to get here by bus from Turku centrum. Nice place to visit.
