The older man selling things in the store seemed like he really needed some help. As for lunch, we could choose the buffet or order à la carte, and we both enjoyed what we had. The food was tasty and the service was excellent.

This is a comfortable place with a genuine old Finnish country feel. The daily lunch follows that tradition and gives you an authentic taste of Finnish food heritage. Lunch is served buffet-style, or you can order the daily steak separately. I really recommend it. It's much better than French fries!

A cozy cottage room made this a good overnight stop while traveling, and they serve dinner so you don't have to drive far to eat. Breakfast could offer more hot choices besides porridge. There wasn't a shared sauna available, only one in certain cottages.

The young woman at the front desk took her time helping customers and did it with a big smile. We stayed in a complete holiday cottage, more like a townhouse! Breakfast was complete too, and set us up nicely for the day. Recommended!

It was my first time caravanning, and I loved it. There was shade by the trees, so we didn't have to sweat in the caravan, and we had our caravan set up with the cars free to use. Kalajoki sand dunes are 1.5km away, but that wasn't a problem. The place had everything we needed: bike rental, a barbecue hut, saunas, toilets, showers, a playground, and even a small waterpark. Great for kids!
