The staff were kind and helpful, and the hospitality was good. It’s a great spot for seeing bright, beautiful auroras, and the food was quite delicious too. We had an amazing stay!

We had a wing with three comfortable rooms to ourselves, which worked well for our family of five. The private sauna was great, though I’m not in a hurry to roll around in the snow again. There was a tobogganing run behind the place, and a lovely spot for watching the Northern Lights on the other side. Everything was well organised, and when we arrived at 3AM, the host had a hot meal waiting. Such a hospitable welcome for our short stay.

The nature path is dramatically scenic, with a milder route and a hardcore one, and both are amazing. From the top of a vaara, you can see the midnight sun. The place is pretty remote, about 10 km along a dirt road from a motorway.

Warning to EV drivers: the owner seems to have some kind of issue with EVs. Nobody told us there'd be an extra charge for charging our car on top of the basic electricity fee. Once the owner found out we were charging, the power was cut off. Then we were told it would cost 34€ extra on top of the other costs. The owner blamed an employee in front of us, and she even offered to pay some compensation so we'd stay. We still left. We don't usually stay somewhere when the owners are as***les.

We came to see the Northern Lights, not to stay overnight. The area was lovely and quiet, and the inside felt quaint and hospitable.
