Forenom Aparthotel Kempele

The kitchen was well equipped for making your own food, and check-in with the key code was easy. The room was clean and parking was free. There’s no kitchen paper, though, and the dining table is too high for small kids. There’s no dishwasher, so you have to wash the dishes and take out the garbage when checking out.

The nearby shopping center is very convenient, just a 2-3 minute walk through the pedestrian tunnel. We had our dog with us and found nice nearby walks at the ski center and along the little suburban streets. The hotel was easy to access. I took off a star because I’m not sure what’s below the hotel, but it sounded like a bowling place was operating until at least midnight. Our shower soap was almost empty, and the one by the sink was completely empty.

Access is by a code sent by text, and there’s no reception, restaurant, or vending machine inside, so you have to buy everything outside. The room was clean and had a kitchen, iron, and other useful things. It’s minimal, but has the essentials.

The building and apartments are easy to access, and the location is very good. There’s a well equipped kitchen and free parking. Forenom markets this as a place for workers, but the Apartment Hotel suits much better.
