There’s lots of space in the cottages, and the sleeping arrangements worked really well. It’s peaceful here, though you can see and hear some traffic passing through the trees on the far side of the river. The bathing facilities were all in good working order. I’d recommend it for group events.

The hot tub didn’t filter the water properly. The owner says the pool was misused and is asking for an extra cleaning fee.

We held my father’s memorial service here, and it went really well. The venue suited the occasion, and although we brought in catering, the kitchen facilities were suitable too.

The villa has a huge living area and plenty of table space, with five bedrooms. One of those bedrooms couldn’t fit an adult. The sauna and washing facilities were good, though more towel hooks would help. The jacuzzi was lovely, but many jets were broken. The rocky surroundings are beautiful but badly overgrown, with nettles right by the terrace. It’s a nice complex, though it could use maintenance and a facelift.

It’s hard to describe the atmosphere here. We had a wonderful time relaxing, and the villa is perfect for a large group. The sauna, terrace, outdoor jacuzzi, and everything else were lovely. I highly recommend it.
