I was very happy with everything. It was all excellent.

Simple countryside lodging, nothing fancy.

The breakfast was set out in the garden, where we could pick things from the trees, including apples, pears and pineapples. The price for the experience was really good. Our night went smoothly, although someone was doing renovations in the early morning while we were still asleep. Inside, the guesthouse had a pleasant feel, and our room had flowers and chocolates arranged on the pillow. There was chocolate on the sheets too, or at least I hope that's what it was. A local dog called Laapotti greeted us, and there was a kennel in the yard with plenty to keep the dogs occupied. There was also lots of parking for electric cars. Getting there by car was tricky with the map we picked up from the Keuruu prism, but phones have navigation now. The road itself was a great rally route, winding through fields and along lake shores. Years ago, people at the Hakametsä ice rink used to say Riiho guesthouse was Finland's best guesthouse. We finally got to try it and see for ourselves.

I've gone to Riiho inn for confirmation camps, and it works perfectly for that, or really for anything. The rooms are comfortable, the food is good, and the yard is lovely. The inn has that cozy granny's cabin feel. The staff are a very nice, professional bunch who clearly put their whole heart into the work.
