A decent hotel, clean and pleasant despite feeling a bit retro. The woman at reception was super friendly and helped with my late check-in. The hot sauna stays open until 22:00, and there’s a nice chilly pool to jump into. Breakfast had a pretty good selection. 8/10.

A little dated, perhaps, but the spot right on the Kymijoki is hard to beat. And that was some of the best coffee I’ve had at a hotel.

The hotel could probably use some renovation, but it was clean and the service was good and polite. It’s in a good riverside location in Kuusankoski, with a free sauna and pool, outdoor terraces, and an excellent breakfast. We happened to have quiet guests during our stay. All in all, 3.8 out of 5.

A charming, peaceful spot, and the sauna is great. I’d come back. Also, I hadn't seen one of those classic plastic punched VingCards in ages. It was quite a blast from the past.

It’s a comfortable place to stay, with clean, tidy rooms and friendly, helpful staff. The sauna and pool areas are nice too. It isn’t somewhere to choose if you want everything new and up to date, but for the price it’s good value.
