Old Farmhouse Wanha Tupa

It felt overpriced. Some surfaces were dusty, though not badly enough to bother me much, and the rustic feel is part of the appeal. But there weren’t any extras for guests, like spread or oil. Sheets cost another 10€/person, and at that price they were still left on the bed for us to put on ourselves. The whole experience left me with a taste of money laundering.

We slept well, and I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for something a bit different. I’m rarely amazed these days, but I found myself happily saying what a wonderful place it was. Arriving felt like stepping into a local history museum, except I was welcomed and told to make myself at home. We also got a thorough guide to local attractions.

The house was nice, but really dirty. I had to buy detergent and wipe down the counters before I could cook in the kitchen. There were lots of dust mites in the bedroom.

It’s a lovely old farmhouse with a courtyard. The rooms are quite expensive, though, and sheets, towels and sauna use all cost extra.
