A lovely cashier cleaned my table when she thought I was finished, since I’d stepped away to use the WC before finishing my bread. I asked her about it and said it was okay, it was my fault too. Then she brought me a fresh, delicious piece of bread. Very nice service!
It was great having a characterful, modest guesthouse right at the station, and being able to leave our luggage after checkout was a real help. My friend and I had a friendly one-night stay, felt welcome, and liked the relaxed atmosphere and good café food. The staff were helpful.
A convenient place to stop before catching the train, with tasty food and a relaxing atmosphere. You can leave your luggage here, including ski gear, while exploring Kuopio, for around 5-10 euros.
A good place to stop before getting on the train. The breakfast is nice, with local Finnish ingredients, and the food is fresh and tasty. Good service too.
Friendly staff, and the place has a real old-school feel :P Nice spot for coffee or some traditional Finnish food.
