A wonderful place for magic.

We had the whole school booked for our family gathering, 22 people and three dogs, and there was space to spare, including beds for an even bigger group. The shared areas worked well for meals and spending time together, while little corners gave everyone some privacy. We made use of three good saunas, all with a nice steam. The place was clean and practical, and the hostess was friendly. Kids had things to do, and some of us enjoyed a sausage fire as it got dark. We’d be happy to come back.

We had enough room in the yard to park our camper van, and the kids had a great time with the activities someone had put together on a shoestring. The toilets smelled moldy, and payment was cash only with no receipts. We didn’t go inside, so maybe it’s better there, though there were lots of cars parked in the yard. Fine for a quick night’s stop, but I wouldn’t want to stay longer.

The owner is a lovely, warm person who puts her whole heart into the place. There are two wonderful saunas, so you can pick whichever suits you. The courtyard is cozy, and the renovated interior feels welcoming. We’ll definitely visit again.
