The food was genuinely delicious, and the service was top-notch. The rooms were clean, too. It’s a quiet, peaceful hotel, and I’d happily recommend it.

It was an okay stay, though dinner wasn’t what I had in mind. I expected something more like restaurant food, but it was home-cooked, with some strange green potatoes.

Our bags were packed and taken to reception while we were away at work, and everything ended up jumbled together: my clean clothes with smelly socks and dirty shoes, plus my roommate’s things mixed with mine. We were nearby, so they could at least have called and let us pack for ourselves. This was highly unprofessional. We were meant to stay from Tuesday night until Friday morning, but a paperwork mistake meant they made us leave on Thursday without telling us. We’d left for work at 6 in the morning, and sometime between then and 16:00 they packed up our belongings.

The hotel looks nice, but the floor wasn’t cleaned during the whole week. They didn’t change the towels either, even though I put up the make-up-the-room message.

The cheese dessert was especially good. We had mushrooms and fish, too, and the restaurant food was really good.
