The setting is beautiful, and the service was good too. I was doubtful about their single vegetarian option, but that tofu turned out to be some of the best I’ve ever eaten.

The cabins sit right by the water, so the view is lovely, though the mosquitoes are close by too. A rolled towel along the bottom of the fly screens may help keep them out at night. We stayed in cabin 5 during a day when it was 33°C / 92°F outside. The cabin was stuffy and poorly suited to that heat. There wasn’t even a bottle of water in the fridge, and the fridge wasn’t cooling things anyway. It looked cute from outside, and the bathroom was clean, but the mattress wasn’t good. We knew there’d be no shower in the cabin, but hadn’t realized the available showers were in large shared rooms with no partitions, separate rooms for women and men.

These are lovely little cabins, and they work well for cyclists riding the archipelago route. There are no showers inside, but a shared shower and sauna block offers a classic Finnish experience.

Nothing was particularly fancy, but the house, food, and facilities matched what was advertised. The Finnish marina atmosphere made the whole stay more enjoyable.
