The team put a lot of effort into making guests comfortable, and they were always nearby if we needed help. After a day out exploring or exercising, the sauna and hot tub were much appreciated. The setting is beautiful, and the rooms are cozy and very practical. There was also an excellent selection of technical outdoor clothing for the extreme cold.

We stopped by the café at about 11 in the morning. The waffles were good, but there wasn't much else to choose from, just a couple of kinds of cakes and pastries. Coffee arrived in these 'design' cups, which meant there wasn't much of it.

A really nice spot to pause, whether you're taking a break or coming in after a long hike. The inside is cozy, and the hot drinks were just what I needed to warm up.

The lodge was ideally placed near the national park, with trails starting right outside. They also lent us gear for hiking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing, which was a great extra. We could book the free sauna in 45-minute sessions from 5 pm, just a minute from our room. A five-minute walk took us to the lake, where we saw the Northern Lights at midnight. The staff were kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful the whole time. Breakfast was included and excellent; the homemade dinners cost extra but were well worth it. A truly special stay, and we'd highly recommend it to anyone wanting a memorable visit.
