Our snowmobile trip on the Kuuntivara was unforgettable. We’re a family with children aged 9 and 5, and our driver Ianni (sorry if I’ve got the spelling wrong) looked after us like family. He made sure we were bundled up warmly, told us stories, and happily answered the children’s questions. He was a delightful person, and his love for his homeland came through in every story. The tea was delicious, and it was the most beautiful excursion I’ve ever been on. We finished with a delicious lunch served by our Argentinian waiter, whose perfect Italian made me feel at home right away. The flavors were authentic and delicate, and there were lactose-free options for my kids. I recommend this experience to everyone. Thank you, Kippis, Ianni.

The surroundings are stunning, and the activities are wonderful. Our trip to Kuntivaara was the highlight. The meals are traditional Finnish food, cooked with a lot of love for what the land provides, and we enjoyed them very much. This really is a wilderness lodge, so don’t expect luxury rooms packed with amenities. If you love winter, being somewhere remote, and enjoying nature, this is the place to be.

We stopped for lunch during a break on our snow scooter trip, so I can’t comment on the rooms or location. The food was amazing, especially the Chicken soup and Goulash soup, both of which were delightful 😍. The people were so nice and helpful, and the service was very good. I really enjoyed lunch there.

We loved our stay here, and the staff were so warm and welcoming. Breakfast was filling too. The wooden log buildings are right beside a lake, with a sauna, and the place is surrounded by real nature, mosquitoes included 😂. If you’re after something different from a basic chain hotell, this is it. Thank you for having us! 😍
