The rooms were excellent and well equipped, and the location is quite central, with the option to ski right to the hotel. You can cook for yourself or choose from the many nearby restaurants and bars. There’s parking and a good bus service between resorts. My only downside was that the mattresses were thin, so the beds felt a bit hard. I’d definitely recommend the place and would go back.
We had a great stay as a family of four, with boys aged 10 and 8. The apartment made an ideal base, had everything we needed for self-catering, and we did cook there. It was the boys’ first ski trip, and the family-friendly skiing made it a perfect fit. We booked trips to the reindeer farm, which we travelled to by Uber, as well as husky rides and a visit to Father Christmas through the Ruka website. These apartments are great value, well located, and have everything you need. I’d highly recommend them. Thanks for a great stay!
We had no WiFi service during our stay. I would have appreciated it if someone had fixed it.
The location is ideal, right by the ski lifts and restaurants, with grocery stores and other services close by too. Parking is limited, though there’s an indoor parking hall in the village for a fee of 15 euros (Winter 2023). We stayed in apartment number 1 in building part I. The corridors were noisy, and you could hear everyone walking as if the door didn’t block any sound. It was the same with the stairs, since the apartment was beside the middle stairway between parts I and II. I’d call this a commodity rather than luxury.
The apartment was very good and clean, and the service desk was helpful. Breakfast wasn’t good for us because it was served in the other apartment and only for two hours in the morning, so we didn’t eat there at all. The parking spaces were also very small, and there were too few of them.
