We had an amazing time here. It felt pleasant and safe, and was well worth what we paid. We visited in summer, and needed a mosquito repellent device outside the chalet. Repellent cream didn’t help much. In winter, with all the snow, that shouldn’t be a problem. A few practical tips: bring enough food for the whole stay or rent a car. There are restaurants, supermarkets and a gas station, but they’re not close enough to walk to easily. Make the most of the sauna and bathtub, and check out the beach or river just outside through the forest. The scenery is incredible. They provide a canoe, but remember to take the bottom cover along with the paddles! In winter, you can go skiing too. 🚨Be careful in summer and check whether the authorities allow fires near the river, because of the fire risk!!! Visit the "tunturi". You can walk up or take the elevator. There’s an admission fee, but the view is worth it. Thank me later 🤭
