The cottage was clean, easy to get to, and had a kettle and coffee maker, though there was only one socket for plugging things in. I booked one with a shared bathroom, which also serves as the sauna, and it wasn't the best setup. The toilets and kitchen are in a separate building by reception. I arrived late and sent several messages but didn't get a reply. Bad weather kept me from enjoying the nature, so I might return when conditions are better. It was an acceptable stay, though not my best.

The place felt really outdated, and the showers usually weren't available during the day. We were charged extra for services we didn't use, and paid €6,50 for a beer that costs 1.50 at the local grocery store. One of the worst campings I've stayed at.

The sanitary facilities were very dirty and old, and the prices kept changing without being posted anywhere. We paid for 2 nights, but right before the second evening they asked us to pay for another night. Beware, it felt like we were being scammed.

They offer "boat-taxi" services at Lemmenjoki, which can save you some trekking. It's also a great spot to get grub and coffee before setting off.
