The two saunas are definitely worth a visit. The rooms are neat and clean, while the kitchen, though straight out of the 1990s, is perfectly usable and could do with renovation. The toilets, though, were poor, pathetic in my opinion. The forests are thick, the lakes are lovely, and there are mushrooms everywhere. There are plenty of zander, but you'll need to search in deep water and drag a small lure along the bottom to catch them. Lift it up and you might get curious pike, aggressive perch, or tasty grayling or ide.

We didn't get much sleep, and that really spoiled the vacation. Every bed was narrow and single, and I'm not used to sleeping on something like a perch. The cottage itself was nice and had everything needed, but we found the crowded resort area difficult because privacy was lacking. For the first time, I was glad to head home from Finland.

It was warm inside, with about 50 centimeters of snow outside. A pretty nice place, though civilization is a long way off. There are great treatment places nearby.
