Lohja Spa & Resort

The lakeside setting is beautiful, and the room was spacious and well equipped. We liked the fitness room and found both the breakfast and dinner buffets reasonably good. With the summer offer, the price was very attractive. There's a supermarket and a small farmer stand selling fresh berries and pastries 2 km away, about a 20 min walk. The beds and pillows weren't comfortable, though, and the room got too hot. There was no AC, just a small fan, and no proper reading lights beside the bed. Spa hours were limited, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. with last entry at 7, so it was hard to go in the morning or after a day out. Getting a boat was tricky too, since the beach bar where you pick one up opened only at 1 p.m. A nice place with a lot of potential, but comfort and access could use some improvement.

Very good, though there wasn't much to eat at the xmas table.

We’ve gone to Lohja Spa with friends three years in a row. The rooms and spa feel a bit dated, but I think the price reflects that. The spa and especially the location are very cosy, and the service deserves 10 stars if I could give them. Staff are always super friendly and flexible, and have accommodated all our requests. The restaurant food is very decent. It's rare to find service this good these days, and I'd fully recommend Lohja Spa. The adult only spa on weekend evenings is a plus.

The food and service were good, and we had a good vacation overall. Our room was in a separate building 100m from the main hotel, though, which made walking through the snow difficult with my 2 yrs old and 4 yrs old kids. The cottage was also a bit small for our family of 6.
