The reception staff were really friendly, and there’s a nice little cafe right by the desk. Breakfast was full, too. A lovely short break from Helsinki. The sauna and pool are open from 6 to 9, except on Sundays.

We barely spent time in the room since we were out exploring the area. The hotel’s in a beautiful spot, a real little gem. The rooms aren’t luxurious, but that didn’t matter much to us.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile. After a day outside, it was nice to come back to a warm, welcoming hotel. Kiljava Resort is surrounded by quiet forest and looks out over a peaceful lake, a lovely escape from the everyday. The rooms were clean, roomy, and cozy, with comfortable beds and a quiet feel that made for a good night’s sleep. There’s plenty to do outdoors, from hiking and swimming to just relaxing by the water, and the balance of activity and downtime works well. It seems suited to either a weekend away or a longer stay. I’d recommend Kiljava Hotel to anyone visiting Finland or hoping for a peaceful break near Helsinki. It brings together Finnish hospitality and nature beautifully.

There was no food or drink available, just a place to stay. The so-called breakfast was an unhealthy snack. I can’t recommend this hotel unless someone’s looking for an abandoned place to hide.

The lake and surrounding nature are lovely. We really liked the place, including its nicely furnished interior, though it has a bit of a retro look. Seems like a very nice spot for team events, and there’s a sauna too.
