UPDATE TO RESPOND TO OWNER: I booked by mistake because this place has exactly the same name as the other one. My original review had the names mixed up. I booked through Expedia, not hotels.com as the owner said. Expedia told me the HOTEL denied my refund request, even though they knew it was an honest mistake because I contacted Expedia minutes after booking. My review is completely honest, and the attached photos prove it. So, as I said, beware! ORIGINAL POST I meant to book Polaris Villas but accidentally reserved Villa Polaris. I spotted the error within five minutes and called right away to cancel the $3030.48 booking. The hotel only refunded half, citing its policy. That may be allowed by the terms, but refusing any flexibility or goodwill over such an immediate, honest mistake is a major warning sign about its customer service and how much it values customers. Be careful.

We've stayed at this villa several times, and each visit was enjoyable. It's warm, roomy, and comfortable, with the slopes just a five-minute walk away. In autumn, there were lots of mushrooms and berries in the forest.

Kristina was a polite and helpful host, and we'd love to return soon. The villa was in excellent condition, very clean and comfortable, and well furnished with everything needed for a good stay. We were pleasantly surprised by its quality, and it worked really well for our family holiday. It's only a few minutes from Sappee Ski Resort, with lovely forests and nature all around.

A lovely villa with a plunge pool, very clean and well equipped. Kumar, the caretaker, was thoughtful and kept checking on me when I felt unwell, asking whether I'd eaten dinner or needed medication. A wonderful stay, highly recommended.

The villa itself was nice, though we had some trouble with the owner, who wasn't very nice. Since linens aren't included, I suspect many guests sleep directly on the beds, and the pillows, blankets, and bed covers badly need cleaning. Still, all in all, it was okay.
