The location is great, but there are several basic things that need attention in the rental cottages. The hot tub is old and wasn’t cleaned properly, and dirt came into the water through the pipes. The second toilet has no privacy because you can see through its window from outside and inside. The lamp by the sink is broken, and there’s no light at the hot tub or on the terrace leading to the beach sauna.

The cottage itself was very clean and good quality, and the setting is great. The beach sauna was wonderful. The small pier out to the beach is old and worn, and the hot tub has seen better days too. One letdown: the dishes in the cupboard were already dirty when we arrived, so we had to wash most of them before using them.

The cottage is spacious, well equipped, and comfortable. The scenery and swimming beaches are really lovely in summer, though even cooler weather didn’t give us anything to complain about.

Spacious, well equipped, and full of atmosphere. A great cottage!

A pleasant, clean setting, with a clean outdoor sauna and a grill shelter screened from the wind with plexiglass.
