The area is beautiful, and we were well looked after by friendly staff who knew their stuff and helped with everything we needed. We stayed four nights, and the beds were comfortable enough. The food was excellent too.

We left straight away and found somewhere nicer nearby. The cottage felt really unpleasant, with a musty smell and an old-fashioned, basic interior. The stove was filthy and seemed unusable to me. Quite outdated, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

Inside the apartment it was just 1°C, and there was no hot water either. We had two children with us and cranked the heaters up, hoping we could sleep. Getting there was awful: the road was covered in snow, so we had to push the car, and no one was around. We had to find our accommodation by trying the key boxes. Avoid this place in winter. To be fair, they cleared the road so we could leave the next morning.

The cottages are old and starting to feel pretty retro, but it was peaceful and the scenery was beautiful.
