We had such a lovely Christmas with the family in Lapland. You can't see the northern lights from the east-facing view, but the place has everything else you might need.

The cottage had everything we needed, and the hiking paths nearby were beautiful for an October visit. Inside, the decor was lovely, and the sausages were huge. We also enjoyed the terrace and the window view straight onto Kovalampi, with access to swim from the sauna.

We had great winter weather, and the accommodation was otherwise excellent. The TV has a promisingly large, handsome screen, but it can't show any programs yet. We're still making the digital leap, I guess.
