The breakfast upstairs had both hot and cold options, and parking right out front was free, with digital registration just inside the entrance. The place looks fairly small from outside, so we were surprised to find 30 rooms. It’s a former shoe factory, with modern hallways and rooms that feel thoughtfully designed and welcoming. The stone-and-concrete wall in ours looked antique, though it was very realistic wallpaper. Our room was practical too, with a small microwave and fridge. We noticed it goes by The Place to Sleep Hotel Rauma on Google, while most hotel sites and TripAdvisor list it as Frans & Frans - Hotel and Apartments by UHANDA. A pleasant, well-considered hotel. Recommended.

Clean room, comfy bed, and a good-sized fridge. The location is nice and the price affordable. It worked well for a longer stay. The WiFi gave us some trouble, but they got it fixed pretty quickly.

The room was clean and roomy enough for a night, and the old town is within walking distance. It’s an old warehouse, and the name really says it all: just a place to sleep. We were there in summer, and it got quite hot. The windows don’t open, and there’s no air conditioning.

The breakfast deal with the Neste down the street was especially good value. I had a very comfortable stay at this inn in central Rauma. The WiFi was down while I was there, and there’s no reception, which were the drawbacks.

A simple, clean place in a good spot in Rauma, and the price was reasonable. I’d stay at this place again in another city or location. It’d be even better with an affordable vending machine inside, or maybe a small cafe.
