The location is good if you can manage a few problems. There was loud, awful noise for hours through the night, so bring earplugs, and maybe double up. We had only two towels and none were dry the next morning. Also, the second window had no curtains, so the streetlights shone right in at night.

The apartment was cozy, well located and good value, and the sauna was a nice extra. A couple of things were inconvenient: the smaller guest room has a glass door with no privacy, which isn’t great for two couples, and the shower screen and drain setup make it easy to get water all over the bathroom. Even so, I’d still recommend the place.

Alex emailed before we arrived in Rovaniemi with clear check-in instructions. The apartment is right in the city center, within walking distance of several restaurants and K-Supermarket, with a bus stop just across the road. Buses go to Santa Claus Village, the airport, the railway station and a few other places; there are several operators, and you can buy tickets on board by card. Inside, we found a washer and drying rack, and the heating dried our clothes well. The kitchen had everything we needed to make simple meals. There are clear instructions for sorting waste in the apartment before taking it to the containers. We had a great stay.

Everything was very clean and well organized, and the apartment had what we needed, including coffee, a dishwasher and a washing machine. Parking is available for a fee. The host replied quickly and gave us useful, timely information. We didn’t take any photos, but the pictures on the website are genuine. Highly recommended!

A clean, well-kept apartment right in the city, with good connections. Great place to stay.
