The room was spotless, the bed was excellent, and it felt warm inside. You can tell the place was built with care, and it really feels like home. The surroundings are lovely, with clean air and a lake just nearby; the access road is good, and you can plug your car into an outdoor socket for heating. There’s even a piano. At midnight I could still go to the kitchen for coffee, tea, milk, cocoa, water, soda, a fresh croissant, cornflakes, chocolate, cookies, or fruit like bananas, apples, and tangerines. The shared living room has films and TV, music, puzzles, board games, and virtual reality. There’s also a decent internet connection for browsing or work, all included in the room price. For a reasonable extra fee, you can try ice fishing, rent snow boots, ride a snowmobile, or use the jacuzzi and sauna. You can also visit the neighbors to feed the reindeer. Breakfast is delicious and impressive, and the hotel serves dinner at a great price. The Northern Lights shine right above the hotel.

The cabin for two adults and two kids was magnificent, with a view of the frozen lake in a beautiful, wild setting. We enjoyed seeing the northern lights. Everyone on staff was welcoming and nice. We cooked in the cabin each evening, so we didn’t try the restaurant.

We spent three nights here and had a great time. The area is peaceful and beautiful, perfect for a relaxing break. We booked the private sauna, went looking for the northern lights, and took a short snowmobile ride. The owners were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was included, with a great variety, and dinner was great too.

The cabin’s private sauna made the stay especially worthwhile, even in the -30C winter snow. Staff were amazing and helpful. It’s a self-serviced place in a serene, quiet forest setting by the lake, and a good spot for viewing the northern lights.
