The hotel staff were friendly and offered us a complimentary dinner when one of our rooms wasn’t ready at check-in and we had to accept a lower room category for the first night. That was much appreciated. Cleaning was poor in three rooms: we found hair from previous guests in the restroom, and one room even had pee stains. After leaving a short written note, the cleaning staff paid more attention. The location is great, right in the city centre near shops and restaurants. Breakfast is included and has a large selection of hot and cold food, which we appreciated, though the quality isn’t top notch. The scrambled eggs and bacon were dry and overcooked. The rooms are old, with worn furniture, and the toilet needs a complete renovation, with old tiles and taps and a missing part of the shower enclosure. Hotel prices anywhere in Rovaniemi are outrageous.

The staff were really nice, and the sheets were clean, but there’s no water, kettle, or slippers in the rooms. For hot water, you have to go to reception. Some rooms are reached by stairs, which is painful with luggage. Breakfast was mediocre.

Its location right in the city center is the biggest plus, and it’s pretty clean and decent for sleeping. The hotel is run down, though, with very basic, worn rooms. Apart from breakfast, the restaurant isn’t operating.

The staff were great and helpful, and breakfast was good. The interior feels a bit old, and there’s no water boiler, coffee, or tea in the room. It could be better.

An oldie but goldie in the middle of rovaniemi city. Karaoke downstairs every day. The rooms are from the 70's, but they were built with love back then...
