You can walk to Ruka Village, and there’s plenty of parking too. The hotel is about 100 feet from the lift, so skiing in and out is easy. We also loved the ice bath and sauna, and having a clothes dryer in the room was handy. Would stay again.

It’s a nice place, close to the slopes and an easy walk into the village. I did wish they’d made it clear the restaurant only opens in high season. Our rooms also weren’t cleaned because the cleaner was sick, which didn’t seem acceptable to me. The hours are very strict. Soup is available from 12-16h, with no extra minute, and the evening closing time of 19h is just as firm. It’s a pity, since I like having a drink at the bar after dinner in the village.
