The moose soup was really tasty, as was the mushroom smorbrod, and then we had a delicious cappuccino ☺️😁 I totally recommend this place ❤️

The restaurant was a real highlight, with fantastic food and service, and it was handy for both breakfast and dinner. The hotel feels boutique, and the location is perfect, right at the peak beside the slopes. We spent a few days skiing, then enjoyed the sauna and the hotel’s jacuzzi. The setting and decor were ideal. We rented ski gear and picked up ski passes in Ruka town, which we drove to. There’s also a convenient ski boot room, and the nearest blue slope is about 25 meters away. Our room had everything we needed, including a super-comfy bed and a balcony with wonderful winter views. I’d highly recommend staying here if you get the chance!

The private sauna, outdoor jacuzzi, and hot pool were the best parts. You can lie in the snow and then get back into the hot bath. Amazing! The sauna itself is an old carbon oven, which is very original. The restaurant is also very nice, with a small menu of excellent quality and typical Finnish food.

The food was great and had interesting local flavours, easily worth 4.8 stars on its own. But we waited more than two hours for the main course because, as we were told, there was a big group in the other room. They did compensate us for the delay. It may be worth asking about the booking situation early, since the kitchen seemed to struggle with a private-room reservation alongside the main dining area.
