Several winter walking routes and cross-country ski tracks are an easy walk away. The cabin shown in photos 21 and 22 was locked, so we couldn’t use it, though that didn’t bother us. The house has a lovely sauna and a good layout, but it isn’t as secluded as the photos make it look. There are around eight other houses quite close together, and the next one is only about 5 meters from the back terrace. That wouldn’t bother me in winter, but I wouldn’t want that in summer. It needs a proper clean. Things look fine at first glance, but the stove, dishwasher, washing machine, and other things were a bit greasy. The dishwasher was still full when we arrived. The TV has Finnish and Russian channels set up. For German channels, for example, you’d need to change the satellite settings, which is quite a hassle.

The nearest neighbors are just 5 meters away, though the little house itself is nice. There were food scraps left on the pan, and the oven was really dirty and disgusting. The key box is defective, so getting the key out in the cold was a real struggle.

A fairly new, nice cottage, suited to a small family. The fuses couldn’t take a 13 A load, and now one phase is out, presumably because the main fuse blew. There was no key for the main switchboard, and the maintenance man isn’t on call around the clock. Well, it’s not urgent now. Two phases are still working, for the moment.

It’s a good size, with a nice room layout and location. Everything feels new and clean, with no signs of use.
