The front desk staff were remarkably friendly, and the complimentary breakfast was great. My room was very spacious and CLEAN, and the bed was really comfortable. Highly recommend this Hotel.

I had a business trip and got to work in a comfortable meeting room. The hotel is small, but impressive inside and out. The room was nice, with a jacuzzi bath tub, plus there’s an indoor pool and sauna. Breakfast was surprisingly good, with juice, porridge, bacon, bread, yogurt and sweet pastries. It’s in a quiet neighborhood, with Salo center and its restaurants and services just a short walk away. Definitely worth a visit!

I really enjoyed my four nights at Hotel Fjalar. The sauna was the highlight, so make sure to try it while you’re there. The hotel is close to everything and easy to reach from the main highway. My room was very clean and had a patio, which was a perfect spot to sit and work in the lovely weather. Everyone spoke excellent English and was very helpful. Breakfast is a must, with a great food selection and delicious vegetarian options available on request. If you’re staying in Salo, stay at Hotel Fjalar!

The breakfast had nice vegetarian choices, and it’s a great option if you want a good night’s sleep. This is an interesting private home that’s been turned into a hotel, and it still has that homey feel. The hotel is quiet and well kept, with a warm atmosphere and very nice staff.

There’s a pleasant private-house feel to this quiet, tidy hotel, which used to be a private home. The rooms are very clean, and the sauna and pool are nice. Breakfast service was excellent, and they prepare vegetarian choices when asked. It’s surrounded by private houses.
