The beds were soft and comfortable, and the place was generally clean. These are spacious, quiet apartments with a private shower and the option to cook in your room. There’s a beach right next door for swimming. Our room looked onto a basic, unmaintained yard rather than the lake. A good stop for a few nights while visiting the nearby sights and enjoying Finnish nature.

Breakfast was included, and the grounds were beautiful and well kept, with berries and mushrooms nearby. There’s a lot to do here: Saimaa, fishing, boat docks, SUP rentals, charcoal and gas barbecues, bicycles, table tennis, darts, and boat rentals from pella rowboats to 80-horsepower Busters and 28-foot yachts. Excellent hotel and service. Finland has everything you could want.

The new, high quality beds, towels, and kitchen were a big plus, and everything seemed thought through. The apartment was clean and tidy, with excellent beds and bedding, and it was quiet. Definitely worth the price. At first the place felt a bit stuffy, like stepping back to the golden 80s. There was no clear sign showing where to register!

There’s a drying cabinet, which was especially welcome after a rainy fishing trip, plus a separate room for fishing gear. Fishing is excellent, and the grounds are picturesque and well maintained. There’s a large tennis court, table tennis, darts, SUPs, and two docks where you can launch a boat. The house has four rooms with two beds each, wardrobes, bedside tables, and lamps. Beds are very soft and comfortable, and linens and towels are provided. There are two toilets and a shower, with hot and cold water. The large shared living area has a sofa, tables, armchairs, and a TV, and connects to the kitchen with a bar counter and roomy fridge. All the utensils are there. The house is very clean and has everything you need, including a kettle, toaster, coffee maker, stove, microwave, and good quality toiletries like tissue paper, soap, gel, and shampoo.
