A family-run place that offers an alternative stay in Savonlinna. Besides rooms, there's a camping-car park, but no tent camping, and a small activity park for young children. The park could use some polishing, though it has enough variety. Our family room was nicely furnished, but noise from other guests meant we slept really badly. Breakfast was standard. We visited in peak season, and the price was okay.

We stayed in winter 2024, and the room felt far too small for what it cost. The beds and mattresses were poor, and many things in the facilities were broken or looked very worn. There were unpleasant smells in the kitchen, and the rooms had almost no sound insulation. Even though we were the only guests, we could clearly hear a conversation in the kitchen just two metres away. Breakfast was okay, but there weren't many choices for vegans. I can see the summer advantages being the location, six minutes from the bus stop, the lake view, and the wooden house, which looks nice from outside.
