Villa Lövkulla

We had a great time over our four days and three nights, relaxing in the jacuzzi and sauna and grilling. The cottage was lovely, well equipped and had an amazing view. Plenty of beds, toilets and bathrooms too, which was a big plus. I was really impressed and will definitely come back.

I could spend hours here just sitting, reading or looking out at the woods and water. The house has lots of rooms and cozy corners, and there are books in many languages. It feels traditional and full of soul. Around it, there’s a terrace, a balcony and plenty of space, surrounded by woods and a fairy rail. The bay is right there, with a private beach. The wood sauna is just a couple of meters from the shore, so you can open the door and run straight into the cold water. We stayed for seven days, and I got much more than I’d hoped for. My friend went fishing by boat from the beach each morning, while I rowed for about an hour a day and ran 5-7 miles in the woods each morning. There were lots of berries along the way. The kitchen has a mix of old plates, dishes and cups. The electrical appliances are definitely not new, but they work normally. There’s also a home cinema with a library of old films, and I’m sure I’ve forgotten other lovely things. It was very clean, spacious, and had everything needed and more. The price was very fair, too. If you want a modern place with a smart home, a brushed stainless-looking fridge and the latest fully electronic equipment, this may not be the place for you. I love places like this, and I’ll definitely return. Thank you.

A real gem, with a wonderful location, breathtaking views, fresh air and a peaceful place to relax and recharge. This amazing mansion has plenty of room for a larger group and a well-equipped kitchen. Four WCs are a huge plus!

My family and I had a very unpleasant two weeks at this rundown Villa in Finland. We arrived from England on 1st August and left on 15th August. The website showed the things that were there, but most of them were unusable, dirty or broken. There was thick dust under the beds and in all the air vents, an electric socket hanging from the wall, broken toys and bacteria growing in the sauna water bucket. The BBQ equipment was rusty, dirty or unusable. The fridge and freezer were dirty and missing shelves. We even found a used Tampax in a drawer. The storage was full of the owner's belongings, so we had to live out of our suitcases for the whole two weeks. There was clutter and dirt everywhere. We spent the best part of our holiday cleaning, and when we complained, the owner wasn't interested. Villa Lövkulla is not suitable for paying customers.
