Golden Crown - Levin Iglut

The restaurant was comfortable, with great food and attentive wait staff. The igloo itself is simple but comfortable, and the nature around the place is phenomenal. It's an elegant spot, though it runs on self-service, so don't expect help with your luggage.

We spent one night in the glass igloos at Golden Crown Levin Iglut, and the stay felt magical from beginning to end. The igloo was cozy and thoughtfully designed, with heated glass that kept the view clear despite the cold. Watching the Northern Lights dance overhead from bed, while warm inside the glass bubble, is something I'll always remember. The setting was peaceful and secluded, like a winter wonderland, and perfect for stargazing. Service was excellent, and the amenities were just what we needed for a comfortable stay. If you're after a one-of-a-kind Arctic experience, I'd highly recommend Golden Crown Levin Iglut. A bucket-list night, for sure.

The igloo was comfortable, well equipped, and had stunning views. It was a lovely stay, though incredibly expensive. With check-in only at 3:30 pm and checkout by 11 am the next day, our one night barely gave us time to enjoy the igloo or its facilities. Such a shame. One night doesn't feel worth it when there's so little time to appreciate the place.

We spent the first night in a superior igloo and the second in a premium one with an unobstructed view. The upgrade was well worth the price, and the whole experience was, too. Both rooms were cozy and surprisingly spacious for what they are, with heated windows for clear views of the night sky and auroras if you're lucky. There are little kitchens and coffee in the igloos, so you can make your own meals. We ate at the restaurant both nights, enjoyed every bite, and liked trying the local dishes. Portions were on the small side, but delicious. Breakfast came with the room price: a tasty buffet by the fireplace with local food. The front desk staff were friendly, welcoming, very helpful, and spoke perfect English. If you arrive early, there's a place to leave your luggage, and plenty of spots to charge EVs. We didn't try the spa or sauna, or buy sausages to roast over the fire. Maybe we'll have to come back for those.
