Lapland Hotels Sirkantähti

The dated rooms have shower curtains, and the check-in service was awful. The woman at reception came close to being rude when I questioned the extra €90. Breakfast was charged at €30 per night whether you wanted it or not, even though nobody checked on two of my three nights. That added €90 to an already high room bill. I'd stay elsewhere if you can.

Our apartment was clean, roomy and warm, with no need for extra blankets or layers. Even the sauna and shower room stayed warm without relying on the heating. The hotel's reception and restaurant at Sirkantähti felt welcoming, cozy and spacious, and the buffet was clean, well looked after, with plenty of choice. Staff were friendly and happy to help. The hotel is well placed in Levi, close to amenities, which was especially useful when temperatures dropped. We stayed as part of a TUI Santa package and found it fantastic value. We'd definitely return to the Sirkantähti! Keetos!

The room was cramped, and there was no way to move or upgrade. Its bathroom felt like a caravan, with pokey space, cheap fittings and drains that smelled so bad the odor spread into the bedroom. The bar, restaurant and reception areas were comfortable and nice, and the staff were friendly. We were half board, but the food was average at best, canteen quality and not enjoyable. Drinks at the bar were outrageously expensive: €32 for two large glasses of wine and about €10 for a beer. Hotel drinks can cost a bit more, but these prices were way over the top. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The location couldn't be better, with anywhere in the town center no more than a four-minute walk away. I stayed four nights with my father. The rooms had all the essentials, comfortable beds, a mini fridge and a clothes dryer. Breakfast had everything.
