There’s space to wander around the resort, which I especially liked. The mirror rooms are beautiful and heated really well, and every staff member we met was friendly and helpful. It’s one of the best resorts we’ve stayed at in Lapland, and we picked a good one. Shame the hot tub and sauna cost extra, though that seems normal here. We enjoyed our stay and would return.

Our stay was unforgettable, thanks especially to hotel manager Santeri. My original proposal plans fell through, and on our last day he helped arrange a beautiful setup in our cabin at the last minute so I could still propose to my girlfriend. It could have been a stressful mess, but his kindness, effort and genuine care turned it into one of the most meaningful moments of our lives. We’re incredibly grateful and will always remember how he made our engagement so special. Truly outstanding hospitality.

We wouldn't return. The resort feels more focused on generating revenue than on guests, and staying in Levi itself would give you better access, value and service. Our biggest practical issue was the remote location. There’s no restaurant on site, and apparently no food beyond perhaps basic breakfast, so going into town for meals means paying for a taxi each time. The attractive features, including the glass roof for Northern Lights viewing, sauna and jacuzzi, don't make that any easier. The private sauna alone costs €85 on top of already high room rates, which is hard to justify as a core Lapland experience. I also asked the manager about a short 2 km husky ride, snowshoeing and a visit to the nearby Snow Village. These are either free on site or available elsewhere for around €30, but I was quoted €1,200 for a so-called “special experience” package. It felt like a clear overcharge and left us with little sense of value. The rooms look like the website photos in style, but they're surprisingly small for the premium price. With two people and two large suitcases, there's virtually no floor space once you unpack. The bathroom is even tighter: turning around or changing your mind mid-task means stepping back into the main room. Communication was another frustration. Most staff seemed to be young international backpackers with limited English, and there didn't seem to be much effort to bridge the gap. Even basic requests and problem-solving became unnecessarily difficult. With better use of space, staff training, transparent pricing and connections to local activities, the resort could improve a lot.

The staff were kind, helpful and always smiling, and their aurora alarm meant we could relax or nap without worrying we'd miss the lights. Breakfast the next morning was delicious, with plenty of hearty, warm options after an exciting night. The night sky was the highlight of our trip. We watched countless stars from the warmth of bed, then the Aurora Borealis appeared, first like a soft emerald mist and then sweeping across the sky in vivid greens and purples. Being able to see it without piling on winter gear or shivering outside felt like a real luxury. It was surreal and emotional, and I was left speechless with joy. The glass igloo was comfortable and beautifully designed despite the freezing weather. The heated roof quickly cleared away frost and snow, keeping the view clear, and the plush bed in the center of the dome gave us a huge, uninterrupted view of the sky. Staying in a glass igloo had been at the top of my bucket list for years, and this resort exceeded every expectation as a place to watch the Northern Lights. Every penny felt worth it. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience I'll always treasure, and I highly recommend it.

Aki, Tobias and the team really know the industry and have the connections to put together whatever bespoke adventures we wanted. I highly recommend booking activities directly through Olo. The resort itself feels boutique, private and personal, and the staff were extremely helpful, attentive and eager to please. We had an incredible stay.
