The cabins were gorgeous and in a great location, and we loved staying there. Our hosts helped answer questions, book things, and arrange activities. It was lovely to cook for ourselves and have room to relax and thaw out after temperatures below -30.

Mika and Jaana made our family trip to Lapland at Polar Aurora Cabins such a lovely experience. The cabins were comfortable and tucked into a beautiful forest, and we were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights twice. We had a wonderful Lappish dinner, with excellent salmon, and the snowmobile day trip with Mika was a lot of fun. Thanks, Jaana and Mika. It was a magical holiday, and we hope to come back one day. ✨

The hosts were friendly and easy to reach on WhatsApp, and having all the activities booked through them worked out really well. We were picked up right at our cabin for every tour, so we didn't have to rush to a meeting point like at bigger resorts. Our aurora hunt was just our group, with no other people along. The cabin was the highlight of our trip. Set in the woods, it was quiet, with very little light pollution, and the northern lights appeared right in front of us and above us every night of our stay. Highly recommended.

We found it easy to book activities, and the clean, traditional cabins were a pleasure to stay in. Having a sauna and Wi-Fi was a big plus. The host family was incredibly friendly, and Mika's Lapland dishes, cooked in a cozy hut, were a special experience. Fantastic place to stay in the Saariselkä region.
