We’ve just got back from staying at Break Sokos as some of Tui’s first guests. We were told this was Lapland, though it isn’t, but that doesn’t take away from what a great place we stayed in. We had one of the larger cottages. They’re beautiful, really clean, and the beds were comfortable. There’s a nice deck and even a private sauna. The kitchen is properly equipped with a fridge, oven, hob, microwave and kettle. These cottages deserve more attention, as there isn’t much information about them. The setting was incredible. I think it would be lovely in summer or winter. We’d like to come back when everything’s green and have some fun on the lakes. We walked from our cottage to Max’s snow world, about 30 minutes with our small children, and really enjoyed it. The staff were friendly and around if we needed them. We didn’t have any problems or need help, but the people we met were always happy to chat and give us a smile. We had an amazing time and will recommend the place for either season. Thank you all.

Breakfast was good, we had perfect service in the hotel, and Amarillo served good food. The staff were attentive and friendly, and we’re glad we picked Break Sokos Hotel Vuokatti. We stayed in a cabin, which was well equipped and much roomier than we’d expected, with a full kitchen and all the appliances. It was about a 10 minute walk through the snow to the main hotel. That may not suit everyone, but it was fine for us.

They advertise it as Lapland even though it’s 300km away. This feels like part of a TUI scam, selling a premium Lapland holiday when the place is nowhere near Lapland.

The staff were so welcoming and lovely! : ) It’s a great spot with kids, with a separate playroom, and the location couldn’t be more central. Levi slopes and services are right nearby.

The room setup didn’t allow for a double room for a romantic stay. The thermostat was set to 25c, with no way to cool the room. For room cleaning, they only emptied the trash and left new tea cups, nothing else. There was no hand soap. At 140€/night, I also didn’t expect to pay separately for the gym.
