We paid for the cabin when we booked it six months ahead. Less than a month before we were due to arrive, the provider cancelled, supposedly because of “overbooking”. They didn’t answer my messages asking what had happened. Now the other places in the same price range near the slopes are sold out. In effect, they had the use of 1K+ euros of my money, interest-free, for six months. They can’t be trusted. Stay away.

We were three people in a two-bedroom apartment and had more than enough room. It seems suited to 2-4 people. There were two toilets, one in the sauna washroom, plus a sauna. Everything worked, and the apartment was clean, nice and practical. The slopes were less than a 10 minute walk away, and the shop was five minutes away, yet it was peaceful, with no noise at all from neighbors. Having our own parking space with an electric pole was a plus. A couple of small quirks: the toilet started squeaking in the middle of the night, but flushing fixed it. The fire alarm also went off while we were frying eggs, even with the extractor hood running at full power.

We stayed in this apartment from December 26th to January 2nd, and it was a delight. It was clean and had everything we needed, including iittala dishes, Alvar Aalto designer furniture and lovely lamps. There’s a grill on the balcony too. I recommend it! ❤️

A really good place for a vacation, with all the amenities, sauna included. There’s plenty of parking, with electric heating for cars.

It’s a quiet spot surrounded by nature, even though it’s close to services and a sports institute. All the sports facilities are easy to get to.
