We were very happy staying in the Honka cottage. It was just as described. The only thing I’d mention is that the electronics could do with an update. There wasn’t anything extra like playing cards, so bring your own.

The weak internet kept cutting out, so it was hard to communicate or take care of things. We also found the customer service unfriendly, which made the stay unpleasant. It was difficult to locate the Kelo cottage because the directions were unclear and the place wasn’t marked well. The website photos didn’t make it clear which cottage was ours, and that was disappointing when we arrived. We stayed one night. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The cabin was clean and suited our needs. There was a slightly odd smell when we arrived, but airing it out seemed to clear it. We didn’t notice it the next day, even though we’d been out all day.

We couldn’t see the lake from the cottage, and the mini hike was cancelled because the nature trail no longer existed. The whole place looked rather unkempt and could use an update. The swings by the shore were broken, and the phones didn’t work, with really poor reception all weekend. The cottage was very cold the first night. We were there for a bachelor party, but the bridal sauna wasn’t heated at the agreed time, and the ground sauna was just an ordinary indoor sauna. It wasn’t worth the price.
