We had a nice room, a good breakfast, and lovely surroundings with a relaxed feel. The owner was especially helpful and friendly, and you can tell he likes looking after guests. When we ran into trouble with our rental car, he helped us right away. We'd book again next time we're near Lappeenranta 😊👍🏻

The room was clean, roomy, and well worth the price. Renovations are underway, so some parts felt unfinished, but that didn't bother us. The owner was friendly, though I had trouble reaching him by phone when I had questions about our stay.

Remember to arrange the sauna and breakfast ahead of time. The host is great, and both were lovely. From the hostel, it's about an hour's bike ride to Sarviniemi, where the ferry across Lake Saimaa departs.

We stayed one night with our dog and couldn't find anything to complain about. The host was perfect, really helpful, and the service was great. It was such a relaxing place. Thanks!

Out in the middle of nowhere, this rustic spot is wonderfully quiet, and the owner is so kind and friendly. I'd stay again, though I hope he'd add thicker curtains to make the room darker in summer.
