It’s in a quiet spot, with the city center still nearby, and there were lots of families with younger kids staying there. The place has a resort feel and a small spa. Rooms and facilities are clean, though they look a little dated and could use fresh paint and a makeover.

For 19e, the spa felt like decent value. It has two saunas, a pool with water massage, three jacuzzis and a kids pool, plus a pool bar. I would’ve needed a bath robe to stay warm enough to have a drink there. The single changing rooms felt a bit luxurious, and the shower rooms have been nicely refurbished. The pool area has a pleasant atmosphere, though some renovation would make it look much better. I went on a Monday night.

The calm atmosphere and friendly, professional service were highlights for me. Holiday Club Tampereen Kehräämö is right by the water, and you can walk to the city center. My room was comfortable and quiet, though cleanliness could be better. Breakfast was fairly basic, but otherwise things worked well. A peaceful option with a scenic setting.

The room looked out over the parking lot, which was a depressing sight to come back to, even though we didn’t spend much time in it. The staff were polite and friendly, and breakfast was alright apart from the eggs. It’s a pretty nice hotel, but the location feels a bit far from everywhere. There was at least a bus.
