Hotel Citi Inn

The place gave me an impression of sloppiness and indifference. It could have been a soulful little budget hotel with more effort, but instead it felt cheap throughout. The building seems to be a converted office or local clinic with inexpensive furniture added. Original office lights remain, half of them don’t work, and all give off a harsh, cold LED hue. The bathroom also feels as cheap as possible. The worst part was the street construction in the inner yard, which went on until at least 2-3 AM. Jackhammers, excavators, road rollers, and noise that felt like it was happening 24/7. There are rooms on both sides, but although the hotel seemed empty, they didn’t put me on the quieter street side. I also got no reply to my email complaints. I doubt there’s even one full time employee. Cleaning was sloppy too: the previous guest’s tuna sandwich was in the fridge, the TV remote was slimy, and the nightstand hadn’t been properly cleaned. Breakfast was basic. It didn’t seem spoiled, but I felt pretty sick all day after eating it. This was already below what I’d expect for 70-80 e/night.
