The villa is surrounded by greenery, yet the city is only about 10 minutes away. It felt ideal. The place is right by the water, with a great view even from the bed, and it has its own sauna. So cozy! Maybe next time I’ll get lucky and it won’t snow and rain on May 1st 😅.

There’s a comfortable bed and a small kitchen in the villa, enough to make a simple meal, plus a little sauna that heats up quickly and leaves you feeling recharged. The accommodation is in a lovely spot near the botanical garden, and it’s about a 10-minute walk from the bus station. Bus 8 runs from the city to the Ruissalo campsite, which is handy for connections. For a longer walk, there’s plenty to see around the botanical park, golf course, marina, and hotel. At the campsite there’s also a children’s playground, mini golf, a nice place to cook, a sauna, and a toilet. I recommend it.

A lovely wooden cottage, with a clean room and a big bed. The bathroom has its own sauna, and the surroundings are beautiful.
