We paid for the main hotel but were moved to this part of the resort without being asked which we preferred. Service was far away, including the keys and breakfast, and the rooms were very basic. The hairdryer was burning.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Onnela is in a peaceful spot overlooking the lake, and the apartment was comfortable and cozy, with two bedrooms, a living room, and a balcony. The four of us shared one bathroom, which was fine. My friends from Canada weren't sure where to put their towels in the shower to keep them dry, as there was no splash protection. The staff's thoughtfulness really stood out. They had bought 4 NEW BIKES just to make it possible for me to bike there. We wanted to do the "cultural loop" to see the Sibelius' home, Ahola, Halonen's studio, Erkkola. and Kivi's death cottage, and we thoroughly enjoyed the ride.

Nice lakeside location. There's no dinner, only breakfast, and entry closes at 23:00.
