From the outside, it looked closed, but luckily a local told us it was open. We only came for the restaurant, and the food was good. I love snails as a starter and know how I like them, and these were good. It was my first time trying reindeer fillet, and I enjoyed that too. Our waitress was so nice, and the decorations were beautiful.

A village full of wonderful, friendly people made my stay in Karigasniemi special. I especially want to thank Tevan and Arja from reception and the restaurant for being such great representatives of the place. The à la carte food is very, very tasty, so it may be worth stopping for a meal. For an authentic Lapland stay, you could choose the Kojamo cabin, but I wouldn't recommend it. We heard the other rooms were nice and newly renovated.

Waking up to fishermen’s voices and seeing palm trees from my sea-view room was amazing. The hotel took us on a fantastic cruise, and we even swam with dolphins. The kids had a wonderful experience.
