In summer the area feels idyllic, and the water has plenty of fish, especially pike. The buildings and surrounding grounds were clean and generally in good shape. If you’re after a cozy summer house to rent, this could be the one.

There are walking trails right beside the cottage, and the location is peaceful. It was lovely and clean, and we got a warm welcome. The bed was already made, with towels left ready for whoever was using it.
