The staff were very kind, and breakfast was amazing, with a big variety of food. I loved our superior sauna room, which had its own sauna and jacuzzi.

The service ladies were really smart, and the modern building had a nice interior. We stayed for one night with my sons on our trip back from Kemi to Helsinki. Give it a try!

The room was clean and the staff were really nice. Breakfast was enough, but there was no extra kettle in the room. They serve hot drinks in the lobby, though they weren’t good enough for me, and the cups were tiny and expensive.

Breakfast had a good variety and the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast area felt a bit small, especially at busy times. Still, I had a pleasant stay at Scandic Vaasa and would recommend it.

The old rooms with sauna are very nice, but my experience was a bit terrible. I stayed once in room 5XX in building A, in the old building. The ventilation was very noisy and “windy,” like it was set to forced mode. I believe it can be adjusted, but there was no way to do that in the evening when engineering services were unavailable, and it was difficult to relax after a long trip. I recommend asking at reception whether the ventilation has been fixed.
